THE TOP FIVE GIRLS TO WATCH IN THE ADIDAS 3SSB GOLD CHAMPIONSHIPS

We have a lot of big time ladies playing tomorrow in the Adidas 3SSB Gold Championship Tournament in Hoover, Alabama until Friday! This event regularly showcases the top girls on the state, playing elite-level competition for three days and that won’t change here as there are some huge prospects taking the court tomorrow. With that being said, here are my top five players to watch in this championship tournament!

*1 ADLEE BLACKLOCK: C/O 2022 SG LUBBOCK-COOPER

Oregon State Commit

Yes, you read that right: Lubbock-Cooper.. Whoah! Adlee is one of our top two prospects in the 806 and this will be her first action back from getting cleared off of injury for the Breeze 2022 team. Her jumpshot is deadly, first step is ridiculously fast and she doesn’t mind getting physical down low. I missed watching her play last season and I’m very excited to see the Oregon State Commit get busy in Alabama!

*2 BAILEY MAUPIN: C/O 2022 G, GRUVER GERYHOUNDS

Texas Tech Commit

Bailey just committed to Texas Tech a couple of weeks ago and Tech was happy to land her with all the offers she had! Playing for San Antonio’s finest in this tournament, expect Maupin to dominate on both sides of the ball! She is one of the top prospects in West Texas and brings it every possession!

*3 GABI FIELDS: C/O 2022 G, BROWNFIELD CUBS

Northern Colorado Commit

Gabi has been tearing it up this summer; from team camps, to elite camps, she has been beasting on the court! Fields recently committed to Northern Colorado and will look to continue her great play in Alabama tomorrow!

*4 BROOKE HOOTEN: C/O 2022 SF, LUBBOCK CHRISTIAN HIGH SCHOOL

Brooke was named the Most Valuable Player in TAPPS last year for the Lady Eagles on a state championship team and is on pace for a huge Senior Season. I like her size and the way she can finish with multiple players around her and through contact! Very humble, but she doesn’t take a play off! Will be a steal for any program and will be a great player to watch this week!

*5 CALYN DALLAS: C/O 2023 SG, LUBBOCK-COOPER PIRATES

When Calyn is on, she can cook from downtown. And from what I can see, she has been cooking this summer! Dallas will go DI and has plenty of time to perfect her game. She will be counted on this season for Coach Lovorn and that high-powered offense for the Lady Pirates and should see a lot of open shots this season. That’s not good news for any opponent because she doesn’t miss too much with a hand in her face already.. YIKES!
