PERMIAN HANGS ON TO DEFEAT FRENSHIP FOR CRUCIAL DISTRICT WIN

Updated: Oct 3, 2021

The Panthers withstood a rain delay for an hour and a thunderous Frenship comeback attempt that went down to the last play as Permian won, 17-14 on Friday night. The Panthers ran for 276 yards on the ground on the night and held Frenship to under 75 yards in the first half as they pushed out to a 17-0 lead. In the second half, it was an entirely different Frenship team as Chad Pharies threw two touchdown passes and was driving late and barely missed on a fourth-and-10 attempt to continue the Tigers' attempt at a win in Wolfforth, Tx. Here is a game recap from us.
