IF THE PLAYOFFS STARTED TODAY.. HERE ARE THE PLAYOFF SCENARIOS, A SNEAK PEAK...

Well, we have two weeks left in the season and it's moving very fast; faster than the previous seasons I've covered. So, here is my yearly playoff scenario for all the districts, from 2A-6A! Remember, I'm no expert, but I like to put something out for you guys to look at, and we will come back to it later and fill it in, piece by piece!

2A

SUNDOWN 2-1

OLTON 1-2

FLOYDADA 0-3

HALE CENTER 0-3

New Deal and Post have clinched playoff spots. A pivotal game awaits both teams on Friday as the #6 Lions will host the #9 Antelopes. Sundown has also clinched a playoff spot. The loser of Hale Center vs Floydada Friday is eliminated from the playoffs and Olton with a win in their final two games, or a loss by Floydada in either of their two games will give Olton the final playoff spot.

PANHANDLE 3-0

HIGHLAND PARK 1-2

SUNRAY 1-2

SANFORD-FRITCH 1-2

BOYS RANCH 0-3

West Texas and Panhandle have a huge game on Friday that will determine this district's winner as well. The rest is a mystery. The winner of Sunary vs Highland Park will clinch a playoff spot. If Sanford-Fricth wins, they will be 2-2 along with the other teams' winner and Boys Ranch will be eliminated. Looking like Fritch and Highland Park will get the last two spots, in my opinion.

SPRINGLAKE-EARTH 1-2

SEAGRAVES 1-2

PLAINS 0-3

Sudan and Farwell are rolling again and both will play each other for the district title next Friday. Plains is eliminated already and that leaves Bovina, Springlake-Earth and Seagraves for the last two spots. I'm thinking Seagraves and Bovina will grab the last two spots.

CLARENDON 1-1

VEGA 1-2

BOOKER 0-3

Gruver and Stratford will play for the district title next Friday in Gruver. Clarendon and Vega will also head to the playoffs while Booker will be eliminated.

TAHOKA 3-0

RALLS 2-1

SMYER 2-1

NEW HOME 2-1

CROSBYTON 0-3

LOCKNEY 0-3

Tahoka will take the 1 seed here, Ralls will take the 2 seed here. Smyer and New Home's winner will be the 3 seed, loser 4.. Crosbyton and Lockney will be eliminated,

WELLINGTON 3-0

QUANAH 2-1

SHAMROCK 1-2

MUNDAY 0-3

Wellington and Wheeler will play next Friday for the district title. Quanah will Get the 3 seed and Shamrock the 4 seed.

All these teams have clinched playoff spots since there are only 4 teams in the district. Denver City will win this district for sure.

Bushland will take the 1 seed here. The winner of Shallowater vs Littlefield will get the 2 seed, the loser will get the three seed. If Slaton defeats Muelshoe, they will take the #4 seed and will play Denver City in the first round of the playoffs.

Canadian will take the one seed here, and Spearman should get the 2 seed. Childress will get the 3 seed and Friona vs Tulia's winner will get the 4 seed. Dimmitt will be eliminated along with the loser of Friona vs Tulia.

Abernathy will take 1 seed here and Coahoma will take the 2 seed. Idalou will take the 3 seed and Roosevelt will take the 4 seed. Colorado City and Stanton are eliminated.

HEREFORD 0-1

CANYON 0-1

This district also has every team going to the playoffs since there are only 4 teams.

Dumas and Pampa will play for the district title and the 1 seed Friday. Canyon vs Hereford will be huge for seeding since both teams are trying to stay away from the 4 seed and having to play Decatur in the bi-district round.

ESTACADO 3-0

DALHART 2-1

LEVELLAND 1-1

PERRYTON 0-2

BORGER 0-2

Estacado has clinched a share of the district title and Dalhart has clinched a playoff spot. Levelland can clinch a share of the title with wins over Perryton and Estacado, or they will be a 3 seed with a loss. Borger and Perryton will play for the final Spot in the playoffs.

CAPROCK 2-2

CORONADO 2-2

LUBBOCK HIGH 0-4

Abilene Cooper and Amarillo will both clinch home field advantage in the first round of the playoffs and the winner of their game on November 8TH will have the one seed. Coronado will clinch a spot in the playoffs with a win over Palo Duro Thursday and Caprock will clinch a spot in the playoffs with a win over Monterey Friday. If Monterey wins, they will have to still beat Lubbock High in the Spurs game next Friday to clinch a playoff spot, Coronado and either Caprock or Monterey will travel to El Paso for their first round contests.

PLAINVIEW 0-3

Lubbock-Cooper will get the 1 seed here. The winner of Rider vs Randall will take the 2 seed and LCP and the winner of the Rider vs Randall game will get a first round home game. The winner of Wylie vs Wichita will take the last spot and travel with the loser of the Rider vs Randall game to Dallas for their first round game. Plainview will be eliminated.

PERMIAN 3-0

FRENSHIP 2-1

TASCOSA 1-2

ODESSA 0-3

MIDLAND 0-3

Frenship will host Permian for a huge game in the district Friday. If Frenship can win, they will control their own destiny for a 2 seed and a home field advantage first round game. Lee is going to get the 1 seed here. If the Tigers lose, both Frenship and Tascosa will head to El Paso for their first round games as Permian will have the tiebreaker over both of them with head-to-head wins. Both teams, however will be in the playoffs regardless as Odessa and Midland will be eliminated.
