FOR ESTACADO'S LATEEF, HE'S JUST NOW GETTING STARTED..

I remember last summer when Coach Vint introduced me to a tall, lengthy freshman that had a lot of potential and from Estacado High School and his name was Jahid Lateef. He showed some signs and promise last year, but fast-forward a year later and now he is one of the top lineman in the Nation with offers from Tulsa, Kansas, North Texas, Arizona State and Colorado State! Estacado and their coaching staff have had their share of great offensive and defensive lineman come through their prestigious program and Lateef falls right in with those players and will have a chance to be one of the best, if not the best to come through "MATLAND"
I caught up with Jihad and we talked offers, what he's done to get better and what advice he would have for similar players trying to get noticed and offers of their own.
