Well, well… This is the LAST week of 806 high school football! It seems like the season just started yesterday and now we’re almost done with the regular season! So, let’s talk about the playoffs now as we are about to prepare for a long run for a few teams in the dance! Here are the scenarios, heading into Week eleven of the 2021 season!
6A:
Midland Legacy clinched District 2-6A and Frenship is eliminated.
5A:
🔥2-5A DI🔥
Tascosa has clinched at least a share of the district title and will go for the outright title on Thursday Night against Coronado. Amarillo is the 2-seed as of now and will be if Tascosa wins. If Coronado wins Thursday, it could set up a 3-way title for the Sandies, Mustangs and Rebels. Caprock has clinched the 4th seed for the playoffs and Monterey, along with Lubbock High, are eliminated.

Lubbock-Cooper has a share of the District title and can win it outright with a win over Randall Friday night. They will be the #1 seed as they have already defeated Wichita Falls Rider head-to-head this season, 20-12. Randall is locked into the 3rd seed and will travel to a Metroplex school for a first round game the week of Nov.11th or 12th.

Dumas can win the title outright with a win over Pampa Friday night. All of the other three teams are in. Probably will finish…

Estacado has clinched the #1 seed and their third-consecutive district title.

Levelland is eliminated.
3A:
🔥1-3A DI🔥
Shallowater has clinched the district and will go in as a 1-seed while Denver City, Brownfield and Slaton are in the playoffs. Lamesa and Kermit are eliminated.
🔥2-3A DI🔥
Bushland has clinched this district and Muleshoe, River Road and Dalhart all have made the playoffs. Littlefield is eliminated
🔥3-3A DII🔥
Childress has clinched at least a share of the district title and can win it outright with a win over Canadian Friday. Canadian is the two-seed and if they win can clinch a share of the district title Friday. If they lose and Tulia, which is currently the fourth seed, wins over Spearman, the Hornets will have a serious chance of going to the two seed as well. Friona is in the playoffs and will be a two or three seed. The winner of Spearman vs Tulia is in the playoffs and the loser of Spearman vs Tulia is out of the playoffs along with Dimmitt and Highland Park.
🔥4-3A DII🔥
Roosevelt can win the title outright for the first time since 1986 with a win over Idalou Friday Night. If Idalou wins, and it’s possible, their will be a three-way tie for the district title and it will come down to point differentials to determine the seeding for 1-3
2A:

Panhandle has clinched at least a share of the district title here and can win it outright with a win Friday. Farwell, Olton and Sanford-Fritch are all in the playoffs. Boys Ranch and West Texas have been eliminated.
🔥2-2A DI🔥
New Deal will take on Sundown for the district title Friday. The winner is the one seed, loser the two seed. Post is locked into the 3-seed and Hale Center will take on Floydada for the final spot in the playoffs Friday. 🔥 1-2A DII🔥
McCamey will win this district with Wink second, Seagraves third and Plains fourth.
🔥 2-2A DII🔥
New Home has clinched a share of the district title and can win it outright with a win over Sudan Friday. Bovina will finish second, Sudan third and Ropes 4th. Smyer is eleminated.
🔥3-2A DII🔥
Stratford has won this district title. Gruver will finish second and Vega will play Sunray to determine the 3rd and 4th seeds in this district. Booker is eliminated.
🔥4-2ADII🔥
Clarendon has a chance to win this district outright with a win at Shamrock Friday and that would put Shamrock third in District play. Wellington will finish second and Wheeler fourth. Memphis is eliminated.
🔥5-2A DII🔥
Roscoe will win this district. Ralls will play Lockney for second and third place Friday and Crosbyton will be the fourth seed.
TAPPS:
Lubbock Christian will win this district and the Trinity Christian Lions will finish second in their district.
