2A/TAPPS WEEK ONE PREVIEW: TRINITY, NEW HOME READY FOR BIG SEASONS

2A FOOTBAL: The heart and soul of Texas High School's gridiron, kicks off this weekend and there are a ton of great games in week one's slate. One game that sticks out from the others on Friday is Trinity Christian getting a visit from 2A DII's state champion in 2022, the Albany Lions. Coach White will have his team ready and they will need to be as Hill, Chambers and the rest of the Lions look to go undefeated and return to Jerry's World to defend their title in 2023.

Another game that should be interesting is Boys Ranch hosting Ropes on Friday night! Coach Kelley will take the reigns in his first Head Coaching gig along with some great help including Brandon White; the All-State Cornerback from Tascosa who recently walked the stage at Baylor as a graduate!

Ropes, on the other side of the coin, has Coach Beau Riker taking his first Head Coaching job as well! He has the most juice I've seen since the aisle in the grocery store and he won't run out anytime soon. A first win to start off either one's coaching career would be fascinating; which is going to make for a great contest that will play out at Boys Ranch High School.
