What a day for the 806 football landscape! Garrison Johnson, the 5’11”, 210-pound tailback of the Frenship Tigers received his first Division One offer today from the Nebraska Cornhuskers. It was well deserved considering the 1,457  yards he’s rang up this season as well as doing it in the toughest competition around from 6A opponents. 806 6A WEEK ONE WRAP-UP: FRENSHIP, TASCOSA IMPRESS..

The week started on Thursday for our two 6A teams when Tascosa beat Palo Duro, 44-14. King Doerue had an impressive game while the defense shut down the Dons for most of the game.  Frenship won their game over El Paso Montwood, 24-14 behind Garrison Johnson’s 219 yards and two scores on the ground.
