WHAT CAMP SHOULD MY SON GO TO IF HE’S TRYING TO GET BETTER (AND NOT WASTE MONEY)

Camp season is here, and there are some great ones to attend if you’re trying to get better, and hopefully get noticed at the same time. Also, there are some camps that your son should have no business attending if you’re trying to get better and more polished at your position(s). For instance, if you’re a running back, there is no reason to be attending a passing camp! Same goes for a Defensive Lineman, why would you attend a offense-oriented camp that won’t help you at all? With that said, here are my top camps for 806 athletes that are seriously trying to get better and don’t want a wasted investment.

1.KICKING WORLD CAMPS: JUL 30TH, KELLER ISD, KELLER TX.

The info is below. Crazy, but athletes that can kick and punt good could easily get a next-level scholarship! This camp is known for sending kids to college regularly.

2. AIR OUT CAMP(S)–FOR QUARTERBACKS AND RECEIVERS

This camp is great for quarterbacks and receivers trying to get noticed as former NFL and college greats will be helping instruct players to success. There is a camp in Bushland, I don’t have the date, but that would be very good for 806 athletes.

3. OFFENSIVE-DEFENSIVE CAMPS (DALLAS OR HOUSTON)

This camp is pricy, but it can last up to four days and really get your player some detailed instruction and hands-on work with great NFL and College coaches, as well as players!

4. SPORTS INTERNATIONAL LINEMAN CAMP (JUL 14-15) NORTH TEXAS UNIVERSITY

This is great for lineman trying to get position-specific training. It’s also a lot of money… This is a two-day camp also.

5. TEXAS HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL SHOWCASE CAMPS (APRIL 7TH) DALLAS

This one day camp is good for testing, competing and showcasing your skills to get ready for your next year of competition.

6.NEXT LEVEL ATHLETE PROSPECT CAMPS

This camp is free to any athlete to come show their skills to prominent scouts and coaches. Founded by Recruiting Guru, Randy Rogers, this camp should be attended by all who can make it!

7. GRAHAM HARRELL PASSING CAMP. (QB’S AND WR’S SHOULD BE THE ONLY ONES REGISTERING)

8. ANY TEXAS TECH FOOTBALL CAMP FOR OFFENSE.

9. ANY TEXAS A&M OR TCU CAMP FOR DEFENSE.

There are other great camps, but most are invite-only like the Opening Regionals, the Elite 11 Camp, and the Under Armour HS All-America camps as well.

Also, if you’re a great running back, Kaleb King from Caprock comes to mind, check out the Oklahoma or Baylor Camps this summer!
